Colours and flavours of Sorrento sea tradition animate again the enchanting Hamlet of Marina Grande diSorrento. The 24th edition of the Blue Fish Festival will take place on Saturday 17th October 2009, from 7,00 p.m.. 

The event, organized by the parish community of the Church of Sant' Anna which will also be responsible for it, in cooperation with the restaurants of the hamlet and the fishermen, provides for a tasty itinerary discovering the delicacies offered by the sea of the Gulf of Naples.  Along the roads of the hamlet a gastronomical route will be traced to allow visitors to taste dihes based on fish, but also cakes and some good local wine. 

A way to perpetrate the ancient sea tradition and keep the spirit of one of the most active communities in Sorrento alive: a real feast, celebrated every year with an extraordinary participation, which allows not only people from Sorrento, but also the numerous tourists taking part to it, to pay homage to one of the vital resources of Sorrento Coast, the sea.
